Northampstonshire is a county in the midlands of England and includes the sources of rivers that flow to both the Severn (west) and The Wash (northeast). Northampton is the largest town, and the largest settlements tend to be situated in the Nene Valley. The county has some fantastic church architecture, with spires in many county churches pointing high into the sky.
The Nene Way follows the river from its source in the county, and the Grand Union Canal runs south to north through the county. Aside from these, there are networks of local footpaths that allow many circular walks to be planned.
Below is a map showing all the walks that I have completed in Northamptonshire.
